Fumbles and a blocked extra point doom the Gators

I know it's kind of late to be doing a post game from yesterday's game. But I'm just now getting over my depression from the loss. What a good and bad game. Our offense finally seemed like it was starting to click. Moody ran well until he was injured, Harvin finally worked his way back into the offense, and Tebow finally got his rushing touchdown.

Yet it was 5 fumbles, 3 lost fumbles, and a blocked extra point that ruined the Gators' shit. I guess you could call it karma. Two years ago, we broke South Carolina's heart by blocking an extra point and two field goals to win it 17-16. How often do you see a blocked extra point? I have always said, if a team really tries they could probably block every single one of them.

One good thing to take from this game is Tebow's press conference afterwords. Tebow swore the Gators would be back with a vengence. He also nearly broke down in tears while he apologized to us Gator faithful. I would really hate to be an Arkansas Razorback right about now.

Here are the UF stats from the game.

Percy Harvin 10 82 yards 1 td

Aaron Hernandez 4 52 yards
Louis Murphy 4 41 yards
Riley Cooper 2 28 yards
Kestahn Moore 1 12 yards

Florida Interceptions
Major Wright 1 5 yards

Florida Kick Returns

Florida Punt Returns

Florida Kicking

Player of the game

Percy Harvin - Wide Receiver, Running Back, Man 'O Fumbles

Yes Harvin had another classic day in a Florida uniform. Yes Harvin flirted with a 200 yard receiving day. And yes Percy nearly accomplished 100 yards rushing AND receiving once again. However, Percy fumbled, and fumbled and fumbled the damn ball! His stats alone make him the player of the game, but some people could make him the goat of the game as well. Percy has never had a problem protecting the ball before. I hope this isn't the start of a new, horrible trend.

Good thing for Florida, Arkansas may be the worst team in the SEC. They looked like shit once again yesterday against Texas. If we don't play very impressive against the Hogs we might as well make travel arrangements to Tampa or Orlando for our bowl game now.

WOW is all I can say. I was, for some reason, worried about this game all week.
