Big Ten sinks even lower

I know this is going to sound like some more Big Ten bashing from an SEC fan, well actually it is some Big Ten bashing from an SEC fan!

The Big Ten is horrible. There's Ohio St., Illinois, Wisconsin and 8 JV football teams.

Things just got a lot uglier for one of these JV teams. Minnesota redshirt freshman QB Clint Brewster has announced he is transferring. This normally wouldn't be too big of a deal except for the fact that Brewster's dad, Tim is the head coach at Minnesota.

How much farther can a program fall than Minnesota? Last year the Gophers went 1-11 and were considered to be the worst school in a BCS conference. Now the coach's son is leaving the program.

Brewster originally committed to Illinois coming out of high school, but then he decided to follow his father to Minnesota. Brewster was probably going to be the third string QB behind incumbent starter Adam Weber and incoming freshman MarQueis Gray.

I would love to be a fly on the wall at the Brewster house during the holidays. I bet their will be some spirited discussions a the dinner table.
