Ohio St. loses back-up QB

Ohio St. back-up QB Antonio Henton announced that he is transferring from the school. Henton will seek playing time at 1-AA power Georgia Southern. The fact that Todd Boeckman is a solid starter and incoming freshman Terrelle Pryor is the face of the Buckeyes future made the decision for Henton to transfer easy.

Despite the reports and rumors, OSU coach Jim Tressel and the Georgia Southern AD have not confirmed the move. Henton is originally form Georgia and he would have 3 years of eligibility if he were to transfer.

I think this is a very good move for Henton. He might actually WIN a title game at Georgia Southern. I usually don't like it when a player transfers to just get more playing time. I always felt that if you want more playing time, you better practice harder and earn your playing time. However, I do believe Henton is making the right choice.

Besides, if you're a Buckeye fan, are you REALLY going to miss this guy? I'm sure most OSU fans didn't even give this story a second thought. This seems to be a good move for all parties involved.
